BEDA Post 2

HEY BEDA-ERS, thanks for the comments on my last blog.

Today, I
  • Did a little resting
  • Went to work
  • Had a discussion with my parents
  • Had a financial talk with my parents
  • Felt good about my life choices
Generally speaking, right now, I'm happy with the way my life is going, but I'm not too excited about how things are working out right now. So, I'm going to start to work on that.

I hope you all had a wonderful day!

MY SIM IS CURSED

Hi blog and readers,

I'm blogging during the Superbowl, after getting home from a weekend retreat in New Orleans. The retreat was super fun, I learned a lot, and I gained a group of close-knit friends.

MAny of you have seen my tweets or Tumblr posts about my Sims. Well, I'm here to re account them.

SO, last week, as you remember, I bout SIMS 3. Amazing game hands down. I made a character that was really cool and like me, personality-wise. His name is Zack Cloverman, and he lives in a neighborhood FILLED with neighbors that are in relationships. So, I was afraid that he would be forever single. Then, an idea came to my head! I would hire a maid to clean-up after him, and he would woo her. It worked. They hit it of SO well; it was crazy. Well, after they started "going steady," Zack had a birthday--INFO: I started him off as a Young Adult.*-- and now he was an Adult. So, days went by and his life was great until ONE DAY.

One day, his girlfriend came over, and she looked different. I noticed that her hair was a different color, but it didn't phase Zack. He wooed her that day, and I saw it: THE PROPOSE OPTION. Zack was ready. I was ready. It was on. MY mouse hovered over the option, and before I could click it-- Everything Changed. The screen zoomed in, and the woman before Zack had risen into the air, sparkling like Ten's regeneration. Then, I got a new friend, DEATH. HE came and took her away, no matter how hard she begged.

The days that followed were hard for Zack. His mood was in the red, and he put his life into his work. After a week, I decided to have him head over to the "Single's" house to meet another woman. Long story short, he got another girlfriend, and before I could even make him "makeout" DEATH took her away again..

Guys, he kept dating a woman ONE age class higher than he, and they kept dying of old age. So, after he became an Elder, I had him find one more woman, get married, and retire. I'm currently awaiting his death.

Thank you very much for reading and commenting on this post. :D

* In the Sims world, the ages are:
Toddler
Child
Teen
Young Adult
Adult
Elder

In an hour, my friend and I will get sushi and watch David Tennant in Hamlet!!

*************************************************************************************
Okay, so. This week, I'm not going to be able to fulfill my promise on posting about my top_ Fiction Characters, but I will eventually.*
Before this post ends, I'm going to tell you about how Nick gets CHEAP sushi.

About a year ago, I had sushi bindges, in which I tried ALL THE SUSHI from town. Once day, I wandered into a Chinese Buffet, grabbed a To-Go box, and I picked out various rolls. I headed to the register, wondering how much money I was about to spend. Well, the way this place charges for take out is by weighing the box, all the while keeping it closed. o_o Guys, sushi is lightweight. I barely paid $2 for the rolls, and when I would return I would come to pay $3.85 for like 20 rolls. So, tonight, in preperation for my Tennant-watching, I shall go up to that buffet LIKE. A. BOSS.

Well, that's it for today, I hope this blog has been entertaining for everyone!
See yall soon!

(I read and hug every comment)

The One with BOW '11

2011?! Welcome!
This is BOW '11 (Blog Once Weekly in 2011,) created by the fabulous Whimsy

So, I'll be coming at you in textual form once a week all year long. IF you wish to participate, do go read Whimsy's blog I've linked. By the look of things, this year will be VERY promising. Also, I'll use the blogging to shed light on where the heck I've been since September of 2010 for those who've already read my blog. But, to the newcomers--> Hello!

Nick's rules for BOW '11:
1. Don't Half-Arse your blog posts like some of those BEDA posts
2. The more comments you receive on your blogs, the more comments you leave on THEIR blogs

And those are my personal rules, in accordance with WHIMSY LAW:
1.) One post per week AT LEAST.

2.) A week shall be defined as Monday through Sunday.

3.) A post shall be defined as some bit of writing...just a bit.

4.) Anyone who wants to join in is MORE THAN WELCOME.

Welp, here's to a great new year *raises glass*
I shall see you next week (and for all you know it could be tomorrow!)
xD

BEDA 19 Yay Many Things!

So... Yesterday I was laying Kingdom Hearts 2 in my room, having a right good time, and then...

MY T.V. ESPLODED!

Of course by "esploded" I mean that it broke normally. In short, it looks like the Northern Lights, and then it shuts off. So, I brought a tiny t.v. into my room, and I think it looks fine. My parents don't think so, however. They want to buy me a new t.v, but I told them that I'd rather get a new backpack and some dry erase boards instead. NERDFIGHTERS!

So, I went to Academy to get a new backpack, (SIDENOTE Lafayette has the largest Academy in the world) and whilst driving, I accidentally cut someone off. Stupid me. I was too engulfed with Tom Milsom's music. Well, I kept driving, and I looked in my rear-view mirror, and I saw that the guy was yelling at me. I kept going. We were then separated by a median and he raced to get next to me. I panicked and turned quickly into a roadhouse parking lot, hoping that it exited out onto a major road. Unfortunately, it was a closed-circuited lot. So, I laid low and watched as he raced around the lot looking for me. While he was far away enough, I booked it to a major road and zig-zaged around the city for 15 minutes, and then went home.

I have never been so scared in my life. But, I'm okay! YAY SURVIVAL! So, I went, instead, with my parents to Academy. I bought an AMAZING backpack, and then at Target I got 2 dry erase boards, 4 cork boards, 8 markers, and an eraser for only $23! Yay sales!! For dinner, my dad and I decided to pick up Popeye's, since through methods of complaining about not getting coleslaw months ago, he received a special voucher. At Popeye's, we paid with a debit card, and the lady gave us the clipboard with the receipt to sign. Now, it is true that this lady had been particularly rude. It is also true that she had been so baffled by the voucher that she had given us our food before asking for the signed receipt back (otherwise known as the only documented record of the sale.) So after she handed us the food (which didn't include the vouchered cole slaw,) my dad drove off. Yay Free Food-justice! Part of me want to go back and pay. :/

Have a great day tomorrow all! Also, I want to Skype with yall sometime! Leave your Skype names in the comments?!

BEDA FIVE "Sticky Noting" Cars

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Hey, guys! (I don't like calling you this, more on this later, and by later I mean in two paragraphs.)

As you can see from the picture at the top, I am a good drawer. I mean, give me a pack of Crayola and I'll draw you a picture! I feel that was a missed opportunity for a better joke. **MOVING ON!**
Last night, Andrew, Dustin, and I planned for hours, and initially executed the "Sticky Noting" of our friend's truck. We would have actually finished had we not been caught by his dad at 3:15 A.M. LAME. Also, don't think that I did all of that. I only did the first two pictures. Andrew did the third (took a while!) Dustin did the mac daddy HUGE Superman logo. It took forever, and he wasn't done! We did this for about three straight hours. It was unbelievably fun and tiring. We did this last night to recreate last summer's first execution of "Sticky Noting" a car. here's the picture of what level we do this on.

Impressed? Don't be, because YOU TOO CAN DO SUCH A THING FOR FOUR EASY PAYMENTS OF $9.95! YES, JUST CALL NOW AN- Sorry, sometimes I blog like an infomercial man. One of my many flaws.

Okay! Now, you paragraph-counters know what this paragraph's about! I don't like calling you guys, "you guys." Redundancy much? So, I feel that I should address yall by another name. One that YOU will vote on!
Will it be:
A. Names of Sitcom Characters
B. Types of Land mammals
C. A name you guys choose!
Decide wisely, I will post the results tomorrow night!

Tomorrow is filming day for our video. I'm also cutting the grass in the morning! Woo Hoo good time fun, eh? DON'T YOU WISH THERE WAS A BETTER WAY?? WELL THERE IS JUS-
Seriously, I need some pills to help me out. And as always, by pills I mean Flintstone Vitamins.

SIDENOTE: Please don't feel bad for yesterday's PICK NICK Challenge. I love you all!

Well, until tomorrow, unnamed!

First thought of the day: Don't grab the lightbulbs dad....

BEDA #3 Wolves like Denim.

Evening all!
I come to you from an extremely dark room in my friend's house with about five other people watching the movie Kick Ass. They are all on the floor snuggling on a pallet. I opted to rock in a recliner with my VERY bright Macbook Pro. Ahh the cons of BEDA!
Today, I woke up to a NEW PHONE. It was cool. My old one broke and yesterday, ATT said that they'd send a new one, but I didn't really realize it'd be today. Go FEDEX! After, I grabbed my Floral 70's shirt that I received from a costume shop, my notebook, and six dollars (Yayy $6 saver tuesdays!) and headed to see "Twilight: Eclipse" or as I like to call it, "Fur v.s. Sparkles." Personally, I don't like the Twilight Saga too much, but I LOVE Alice...........her Hair....... and Cuteness...... and Future-Seeing ability........... Anyway.... =D

The List of jokes Dustin and I made while watching Eclipse:
1. Bella studies English in a Flower Field with a Sexy Edward Cullen and plans on "focusing." What a tease. Don't get yourself into such stupid situations silly girl....
2. At the lunch table, Alice & Jasper appear. "WHY is the cute girl dating Johnny Depp again?!"
3. The first scene of Taylor Lautner featured him in a tight black t-shirt, hair swooped to one side, and a slow-mo turn around accompanied by dramatic rock music. I literally laughed at the top of my lungs and then with his close-ups featuring his attempt at a mustache I laughed so hard I was "SHHHHHHH'd" by a neighboring viewer. This is a LONG movie, lady, I thought.
4. Throughout the movie, Jacob slowly, but surely decreases his Torso attire. He starts off with a black t-shirt. Next scene- Sleeveless shirt. Next Scene- shirtless. Kudos David Slate. Kudos. If you don't know who that is, don't feel bad. I just googled it like a second ago.
5. At the Black Family History Lesson, the chief said, "We've always had magic in our blood." ...and Jorts on our legs. Seriously, EVERY TIME I see a wolf-person in this movie Denim is involved. I kept two tallies throughout the movie. One for Jorts, and one for General Denim.
Denim: 30
Jorts (Jean-shorts): 19

Those were generally all the transcribable jokes. The rest... well, you'd have to be there. Come over to Louisiana, I'll buythe tickets... only on tuesday though!

Well, today was defiantly fun, and tomorrow... I HAVE NOTHING PLANNED. But I will set myself a challenge. I will wake up at Eight o'clock and complete one task that you suggest in the comments. I call it, Nick's pick. (I will come up with a better name) Well, This movie if half-way through, so I should probably start watching it. (I've seen it already, don't worry) Talk to you all tomorrow!

Ohh and I feel Like I should leave a picture in these blogs, so heres one from my watching Twilight: Image Hosting by PictureTrail.com

BEDA 1

HELLO!
This is my first ever Blog, so forgive me if it causes you to get terribly ill. I sincerely apologize. Side note, I just smiled really big because I correctly spelled the word "sincerely."

Look! I indented! I forgot how fun these could be. (Can I be any more boring)
Okay, look, in this blog you're going to find me talking about my life, but not in any sorta offensive way. I love a lot of things, and I hope to come to love this blog. BEDA struck me as an interesting idea because it allows you to keep track of an entire month, and hopefully gain initial feedback from readers. I like to write. I used to write everyday, but I stopped. I even won first place in a fiction contest once, but now I've succumbed to brain crack. As told by Ze Frank, and retold by the Vlogbrothers- "Brain Crack" is whenever your mind creates and idea. And you keep it in your head to plan it out, and think about the best way possible to execute this idea. You obsess over the idea SO much in your head, that it never comes out. And That's what happened to me with writing. This BEDA project will defiantly help me overcome that, which will be much needed.

The month of August will be an exciting month for me! I start my first year of college on the 23rd. I say goodbye to a close friend on the 8th. AND, I have a dentist appointment on the 12th! Join me as I go through my month, and I will try my best to follow you too!

Right now in the city of Lafayette, Louisiana (my current city) is the very thing that causes every preteen heart to skip a beat, every girl to swoon, and every parent to buy a bottle of Advil. Two words. Beiber Fever. Yes, in about one hour he will start his set, and let me tell you, my Facebook newsfeed and neighboring streets has never been so cluttered with opinions of this Justin Beiber. Personally, I have no problem with the boy, he seems to be doing all right with himself. But, I didn't buy tickets. Sorry! Well, I think I should go now. But, of course, I'll see you tomorrow! GOOOODBYE!
